New plugins for DI Optimize

You can now upgrade both DI plugins in QGIS, and versions 1.8.0 and 1.2.3 are available. If you continue to use the old versions, you may encounter issues with functionality, so we ask you to update as soon as possible.

We have made some “under the hood” improvements, and there are also some nice changes for you as a QGIS user.

• Improved notifications in the data plugin. For example, if you try to import the same pending that you have already imported, a banner will explain that the pending already exists in your layer panel and that you have to rename it to import it again.

• The auto-refresh feature in the optimize plugin has been changed. In the past, auto-refresh was enabled even if you switched tabs. This caused regular updates and interfered with work you did in the other tabs. If you change tabs, we will disable auto-refresh so you can work unhindered by plugin refreshes. The algorithm is still running, but if you want updates you can go back to the main tab and update or enable the auto-refresh box. We will also disable auto-refresh when you close the plugin.

• The icons in the Optimize plugin have been updated. Merge and Split Route are now visually enabled when you click the buttons. And we’ve also added enable/disable functionality for the selection summary.
