Here's what's new in DI Buddy version 1.4.1. The app is available from Tuesday, November 18th, 2025 in the App Store and Google Play Store.

Smoother and more seamless user experience

Based on user feedback, we’ve optimized the app to eliminate the scrolling lag some users experienced.

With Buddy 1.4.1, we’ve introduced a set of performance upgrades and larger behind-the-scenes improvements that make the app feel faster, more responsive, and smoother to use. As part of this upgrade, we fixed an issue where user did not get the latest codepush version, we refined edge-to-edge handling for a cleaner look, fixed an issue where the chat input was covered by the keyboard on Android, and resolved a crash that occasionally occurred during search.

Fix for Incorrect Positioning When Editing Coordinates

We’ve addressed an issue where tapping “Locate” while editing coordinates placed the location marker several meters ahead of the user’s actual position. This made it difficult to update coordinates based on real-life placement—especially for users who rely on standing at the correct physical spot before saving.

With this fix, Buddy now places the marker exactly where you are when you press “Locate”.

Fix for Missing Message to Carrier on Parcel Deliveries

We fixed an issue where important delivery instructions weren’t shown for certain parcels. When multiple receivers were registered at the same address, the green information box used to highlight message to carrier sometimes failed to appear, even when it should.

With this update, the message is now displayed, ensuring carriers always see the correct instructions for each parcel. This helps maintain a smoother workflow and reduces the risk of missed handling details.
