Buddy 1.2.0
Here's what's new in DI Buddy version 1.2.0. The app is available from Monday, July 14, 2025, in the App Store and Google Play Store.
In 1.2.0, we’re reintroducing a new code push, a system that allows us to push smaller updates like bug fixes and minor improvements directly to Buddy, without requiring App Store or Google Play approval. To receive these updates, the app must be updated to version 1.2.0 or later.
Fixed a Key and Code Information Display Issue
We’ve fixed an issue in the Buddy app where key and code information (e.g., entry codes) were displayed incorrectly when users had bold text enabled in their phone’s accessibility settings. Specifically, some digits were missing, making it difficult to access addresses with such information. The issue is now resolved—key and code details will display in full, regardless of font settings.
Print Deviation Not Saved if App is Killed Shortly After Reporting
We’ve fixed an issue where a reported print deviation could disappear if the app was closed or crashed within two minutes after reporting it. This happened because the app temporarily held the report without saving it properly, so it could be lost if the app was interrupted.
With this update, deviation is now persisted locally, ensuring that deviations remain intact even if the app is closed or crashes shortly after reporting. Users can now safely resume their workflow without losing data.
