Buddy 1.2.1

Here's what's new in DI Buddy version 1.2.1. The app is automatically updated from Thursday, August 21, 2025. To receive the update, the app must have version 1.2.0.

Bug fixes and improvements

Unable to end/finish routes
In Buddy 1.2.1, we have fixed a bug when users in some cases were unable to complete the route because the list sometimes could not be scrolled all the way to the bottom, and the 'End route' button was hidden. In the new version we have improved the list view, and the 'End route' button should now be visible.

Improved route search
In the new version we have improved the route search. Previously when trying to search for a route it gave several routes and the right was shown at the bottom. The search is now improved.

Fixed a bug with household instructions
Previously when expanding an household, the household instructions was not shown in some cases when the route instructions setting was turned off. In the new version the household instructions is now shown when expanding an household.

Changed the placement of household instructions
Today, household instructions are placed below the button, and address instructions are placed above the button. When there are a mix of household and address instructions, is harder to get an overview of which instructions belongs to which delivery point. In order to make it more consistent, we have placed all instructions above the delivery point.

Changed floor color
In the previous version the background color of the floor visualization in Buddy is blue, the same color as the instructions. In order to distinguish it more, we have changed the color to grey.

Fixed a bug with module summary
In some cases in the previous version of Buddy, the module summary did not show correctly if the first module in the summary group did not have a delivery. In the new version the module summary for module groups is visible (if there is more than 1 delivery in this group) no matter if there’s delivery or not in the first module.

Improved module counting in map mode
When using map mode in Buddy, and route instructions and full route structure settings were turned off, the counting on the top did not work as intended. The counting included the number of modules which has route instructions. In the new version we have improved the module counting in map mode, so that the correct number of modules are shown in map mode.

Fixed a bug with user settings
We have in the new version fixed a bug that appeared if you logged in to Buddy using your phone number and have selected the setting for short product names, this setting disappears the next time you log in with your phone number again. Now the short product name settings is stored correctly and the users don't have to edit the setting the next time they log in with phone number.
