Buddy 1.3.0
Here's what's new in DI Buddy version 1.3.0. The app is available from Wednesday, September 17. 2025, in the App Store and Google Play Store.
Support the upcoming route split functionality
In Buddy 1.3.0, we have added support for the upcoming route split functionality in DI Control. When the route split functionality is released, we will make 1.3.0 the mandatory version.
Clear visual indicators in settings
We have done an improvement in the settings screen, so that the users easily can understand the current state of each setting switch and make adjustments without hesitations. In the new versions the switch buttons in settings, now have a clear visual indicators for “On” and “Off” states.
Improvements to the module summary functionality
Based on user feedback about the module summary functionality, we have done improvements to the module summary feature in Buddy. The usability when creating module summary groups in the app, is now improved and the reported issues when scrolling and the reported performance issues are now fixed.
Show the correct modules
In a previous version of Buddy we introduced route instructions in settings. We had an issue where users use map mode with route instructions turned off, as well as the full route structure, they also saw modules without delivery on the map - because they had route instructions that should be shown, even if empty. The module was displayed on the map, but when a user clicked on it, the user was redirected to another module.
We have now in 1.3.0 removed the delivery point on the map if both route instructions are turned off and the full route structure is turned off if the only reason for the delivery point to be shown was the route instruction. A user can still see the route instruction, but the module marker is not shown in the app.
