Buddy 1.7.2

Here's what's new in DI Buddy version 1.7.2.

DI Buddy version 1.7.2 will be rolled out automatically from Tuesday, June 30 2026, after 10:00.

To receive the update, the app must be running version 1.7.0 or later.

Additional logic for car registry in Buddy

In Buddy 1.7.1, we introduced a new vehicle registration feature that allows users to register the vehicle used on a route before starting distribution, including the vehicle type and registration number when applicable.

In version 1.7.2, we have improved the workflow to ensure that vehicle information is registered when required.

For routes in companies where vehicle registration is mandatory, users must now select a vehicle type and enter a registration number (when applicable) before they can mark Preparations Done and Start the route.

If No vehicle is selected as the default vehicle type for the route, users can continue to start the route without entering any additional vehicle information.
