Change to "Find address and distribution" and avoiding duplicate productions
Production date: 18.09.2024
1. Change to excluded addresses in the webservice "Find address and distribution"
The webservice FindAddressandDistribution (documentation found here) is used to look up distribution for a requested address. If the field product and customer system is used as part of the request, and the address is excluded for the product/customer system searched for, the webservice has previously excluded all routes from the response. This exclusion was done even if the address was not excluded for the day a route served the address.
1.1 Example
Address in the request is excluded for product X on weekdays 123457.
An M6 route serves the address requested.
Previously, the M6 route would not show up in the response of the webservice, because of the exclusion of the address for the product for the other weekdays. After this release, the M6 route will be shown in the response.
2. Avoiding duplicate productions for a publication date
In the Publisher publication calendar, it has previously been possible to create duplicate productions for a publication date. This was only possible to do when creating several new publications at the same time.
With this release, any attempt to create a publication on a date where there is already a publication, will lead to any existing productions to be overwritten. This means it is not possible to create several productions for the same publication date from the Publisher calendar.
