Consistent Use of Language and Terms
Production date: 06.05.2026
We’ve improved the consistency of language across the product by standardizing key terms and wording. This ensures that the same concepts are described consistently, making the experience clearer and easier to understand.
While many of these changes are subtle and may go unnoticed, they contribute to a more consistent overall experience.
Examples of changes:
Standardized terminology by referring to all staffed pickup locations as Service Points. Previously used terms include delivery point, PUDO, and pickup point.
Updated publisher terminology: Publication refers to the title (e.g., Aftonbladet), Edition refers to a specific issue (e.g., today’s Aftonbladet), and the term previously known as Edition (print run) has been renamed to Version.
Ensure consistent use of terminology for the same concepts, and maintain a conscious approach to word choice, such as “Create,” “New,” and “Add.”
These changes improve consistency and make terminology clearer across DI, and we will continue to refine this over time.
