A new version of the Optimize plugin is now available: version 1.1.0.

What’s new in Optimize 1.1.0?

Summary Pop-up for Selected Modules
We’ve added a new feature that lets you see a summary for a specific module or a set of selected modules. Simply click the new "calculator" button in the Optimize toolbar, select the modules you want, and view a pop-up summary showing:

• The number of selected modules

• The total distributed volume of the selection

• The total order time for the selection

How does this help?
This feature simplifies route editing, particularly when moving modules from one route to another. When adjusting routes, you often need to consider vehicle capacity and time windows. The summary allows you to:

• Check the total volume and order time of the modules you’re moving

• Compare these values with the route measurements for your vehicles

This way, you can assess whether the changes fit within the vehicle’s capacity and time constraints before moving the modules.

Dimensions in the plugin

Defining the dimensions is done in the mapping assistant. But in some cases you might want to change the dimensions without having to create a new input layer or changing your templates. In previous versions the dimensions box in the plugin was "locked". We have now changed this so you can choose to change your dimensions here with either using an expression or by choosing a parameter in the drop down.
