Barcode and QR scan with camera

User Story

As a logistics operator using Cargostream, I need to be able to scan barcodes and QR codes with my mobile camera so that I can register and manage shipments without relying on dedicated scanner hardware, enabling greater flexibility and mobility.

Background

Currently, Cargostream supports barcode and QR code scanning, but the functionality depends on specialized scanner hardware. While this works well in some environments like warehouses, it limits mobility for other users,

Dedicated hardware is also a significant cost factor, and issues like maintenance or availability can disrupt operations. Modern mobile devices already have capable cameras and processing power to handle scanning. By extending our existing scanning capabilities to work with mobile cameras, we can reduce dependency on hardware, lower costs, and increase usability for mobile users in dynamic environments.
