Buddy 1.1.9

We’re preparing an upcoming release with improvements and fixes. While the release date isn’t confirmed yet, we want to give you an early overview of the planned changes — please note that these may still be subject to change.

Updates to “Picked up parcels” on “Finish route on central”
On the "Finish route on central" page, only parcels that are picked up will be shown. Parcels that have not been picked up and have a reported deviation will no longer be listed. The number of pickup parcels will also be shown.

Time stamp when ending the route
A time stamp will now be shown when a carrier clicks “End route”.

"After" route instruction placement
Previously, if “Route instructions” were not turned on, the “After” route instruction could still appear. With this release, the “After” route instruction will now be grouped with the “Before” route instruction for consistency.

Improvement of registration of deviations on print products

When reporting a deviation for an unplaced subscriber (not linked to a specific route or module), only that subscriber will now appear in the deviation step.

If a delivery point receives multiple copies of the same print product for different recipients, each will now be shown as a separate item in the deviation list. This makes it easier to select the correct recipient and ensures the deviation is registered accurately.

New code push
We’re introducing a new code push, a system that allows us to push smaller updates like bug fixes and minor improvements directly to Buddy, without requiring App Store or Google Play approval. To receive these updates, the app must be updated to version 1.1.9 or later.

We won’t force an automatic update, but we’ll show a banner in the app to inform users who are still on an older version that an update is recommended.
