As a route constructor I need help to create the best route structures based on my resources and geographical area to be as cost effective as possible

Background

The road and map data and functionality currently available in DI is not updated therefor provide poor basis for optimization. We will research potential third parties for this data, and also benchmark our current optimization motors Spider (by SINTEF) with RouteSmart as an alternative. The goal is to design the future functionality for optimization. In addition, the selected third parties used for our future optimization will improve key route data and navigation functionality.

Deliverables

• Benchmark and evaluate third party suppliers for optimization motors and road and map data

  • In close discussion with customers

• Conclude on future setup and and third parties for optimization

• Create implementation plan of future setup
