User administration in Flow

STAGE: Completed activities

Problem Statement

Currently, distribution companies need to contact support to manage user access in Flow. This can be a time-consuming and frustrating process for customers, and can also lead to security risks if users are not properly managed.

Hypothesis

By providing customers with the ability to manage user administration in Flow, we can create a better user experience and reduce the need for support. This will also allow customers to more easily remove access for users that should no longer have access, and to get information on users that are inactive.

Solution Proposal

We will create a user interface in Flow where customers can manage their own user access. This interface will allow customers to create, edit, and delete users, as well as to assign users to different roles. We will also create a new role that will allow customers to grant other users the ability to manage user access.

Success Metrics

We will measure the success of this initiative by tracking the following metrics:

  • Number of support tickets regarding user admin in Flow

  • Number of inactive users in Flow

  • Number of users removed from Flow

We expect that this initiative will lead to a decrease in support tickets regarding user admin, as well as the removalof inactive users from Flow.

Timeline

We plan to implement this initiative in Q2 2024. We will first work closely with a small group of customers to test the user interface and gather feedback.

Call to Action

We are excited to provide customers with the ability to manage their own user administration in Flow. We believe that this will make Flow more user-friendly and efficient, and will help to reduce the need for support. We encourage customers to test the new feature and provide us with feedback.
