Using POS-data for retailer invoicing

STAGE: Completed activities

User story

As a publisher I want to invoice the retailers who sell my products using POS-data.

Background

A cash register system is the actual system of software and hardware that groceries and kiosks use to handle transactions. A cash register system often also goes by the name POS-system, which is an abbreviation for point of sale system. The actual sales in the store are shown via the number of transactions that have been completed.

Today, our customers are invoiced using return data, meaning that the retailers have to manually register returns. Through giving our customers the ability to invoice using POS data, their customers will not have to have any manual routines for registering returns. Consequently it will be easier for retailers to continue selling newspapers and magazines.

Deliveries

Availability

  • Contact your CSM if you want to know more about the feature and how to get access to it for your product.
