Buddy 1.1.9

Here's what's new in DI Buddy version 1.1.9. The app is available from Monday, 26.05.2025, in App Store and Google Play Store.

What's New
Updates to “Picked up parcels” on “Finish route on central”
On the "Finish route on central" page, only parcels that are picked up will be shown. Parcels that have not been picked up and have a reported deviation will no longer be listed. The number of pickup parcels will also be shown.

Time stamp when ending the route
A time stamp will now be shown when a carrier clicks “End route”.

"After" route instruction placement
Previously, if “Route instructions” were not turned on, the “After” route instruction could still appear. With this release, the “After” route instruction will now be grouped with the “Before” route instruction for consistency.

Improvement of registration of deviations on print products

When reporting a deviation for an unplaced subscriber (not linked to a specific route or module), only that subscriber will now appear in the deviation step.

If a delivery point receives multiple copies of the same print product for different recipients, each will now be shown as a separate item in the deviation list. This makes it easier to select the correct recipient and ensures the deviation is registered accurately.

Display product name

Currently, Buddy displays the customer system for parcels in the route list. Some customers need to display the product name instead of the customer system, so this can now be configured on company level.

Upcoming features

With 1.1.9, we’re introducing a new code push, a system that allows us to push smaller updates like bug fixes and minor improvements directly to Buddy, without requiring App Store or Google Play approval. To receive these updates, the app must be updated to version 1.1.9 or later. These features are not included in the initial release of Buddy 1.1.9, but are planned to be delivered via code push as soon as they’re ready. Please note that these may still be subject to change

Utilize the “Show even if empty” functionality from DI Main

We’ve temporarily removed this from the initial 1.1.9 release due to some unexpected issues. We're working on improvements and will roll it out when ready

If "Show even if empty" is checked in DI Main, route instructions will now appear in Buddy even without turning on "Full route structure". This applies to both address and module instructions. Note: “Route instructions” must be turned on in Settings for instructions to appear.

Other

• We’re improving how addresses are shown in the route list — in some cases, a household/address appeared under the wrong address. We’re fixing this to make sure everything is shown in the right place.

• We’re fixing a display issue where some text was missing in key and code information when bold text was turned on in phone settings on an Android device
