More flexible route segmentation in Cargostream

We are excited to announce the first version of our enhanced route segmentation feature, designed to provide route planners with greater flexibility and control over segment allocation. We value your feedback and encourage you to share your thoughts on this new functionality, as we continue to improve and refine it based on user inputs.

Please Note: Your current settings and configurations will not be impacted by this release. The enhanced route segmentation feature builds upon the existing functionality, allowing you to seamlessly adapt and customize route segments based on parcel volume and specific requirements.

Key Deliverables:

1. User-Defined Start Points

   • Users can now create segments based on manually defined start points in DI Main. This empowers route planners to have greater control and customization over segment allocation.

   • Starting points can be set for each segment in DI Main > Module View, enabling more precise planning based on parcel volume distribution.

2. Improved User Friendliness

   • The segmentation functionality has been relocated to the side menu in the station interface, making it more accessible and user-friendly.

   • The design of the segmentation feature has been revised for a more intuitive and efficient user experience.

• Greater Flexibility: With the ability to define start points for route segments, distribution companies can now dynamically adjust the segment allocation based on parcel volume variations along the routes. This flexibility allows for more efficient and optimized volume and route planning.
