User story

As a distribution company I want the possibility to design our own operational routines, and adjust the carriers tool (Buddy) accordingly to ensure the correct data input and correct process for the carriers.

Background

Today most nordic media distribution companies handle a wide range of product, and combine this in their current operation. The mix of products and variation in delivery-requirements is continuously changed as the media distribution companies develop and look for new opportunities. While incorporating new products and requirements, the operation still focus on being effective and profitable.

A shift from pre-defined,industry standard setup to self-served and company specific setup of the functionality is required to enable the distribution companies on their future journey. This will enable the distribution companies to easier continuously improve and adjust their operation, handle a wide range of products with different requirements and seek new opportunities/volume.

Deliveries

A user interface where the distribution can configure desired setup for their carriers (using Buddy). Full list of deliverables is still in exploration, below is a planned overview

  • Possibility to configure if a produce delivery should require acknowledgment from the carrier

  • Possibility to define desired acknowledgement options for each product

  • Possibility to configure picture and/or scan acknowledgements

  • Possibility to define and document company specific SOP(standard operating procedures) which will be available to the carrier during the route

  • Possibility to define available languages and default
